The foundation of our family's rice journey began with Shri Narayanan Chettiar.

During a time when modern rice mills did not exist, rice processing was carried out using traditional and labor-intensive methods. Our family was involved in converting paddy into rice and supporting local farming communities.

2nd Generation (1900–1930)

Shri Venkatachalam Chettiar

Agriculture & Rice Processing

The second generation expanded the family's involvement in agriculture while continuing traditional rice-processing activities.

Through direct involvement in farming, this generation gained deep knowledge about:
